Neuro Web Design: What makes them click?

NEURO Web Design is a book written by Susan M. Weinschenk. The author has a Ph. D. in Psychology and she has made a career in applying her knowledge about people into technology design. The book is not like many other design books. It is not about how to build a website, add colors, layout, etc. It is about understanding people's behavior and what drives them to act in a certain way.

The book is divided in several sections. At first the author explains how the brain works and how people tend to make decisions. The following sections explain a different aspect of people's interests and she applies them to web design. The sections include topics of feeling indebted and encouraging people to feel like they need to return the favor, using stories and pictures in advertisement and building customer commitment.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in getting information about web design from a different perspective.
